Acquisition of Systemate Group by Meyn Holding approved

New combination market leader in the poultry processing equipment industry

Regulatory approval has been received for the acquisition of all activities of Systemate Group B.V. (“Systemate Numafa”) worldwide by Meyn Holding B.V. (“Meyn”). The two companies will continue their activities as part of the same group. The agreement includes the activities of Systemate Numafa, Dapec in North America and Orty in France. With a sales volume of approximately EUR 180 million and 1.000 employees, the Systemate Numafa/Meyn combination is the leading supplier to the poultry processing industry worldwide.

Meyn offers its customers processing solutions throughout the entire process. Systemate Numafa has a clear focus on a number of markets and specific poultry processing areas. Systemate Numafa’s subsidiary Dapec is the widely recognised market leader in the U.S. for cut up lines and associated systems. The combination of the two companies will be able to offer its growing number of customers worldwide a very competitive and unequalled product portfolio supported by a strong local presence.

Acceleration of the expansion within the industrial cleaning systems department and a positive development for spiral systems, are equally likely.
