'Succesful edition VIV Russia 2005'

From June 1st to June 3rd 2005, Systemate Numafa attended the second edition of VIV Russia at the Krokus Expo Centre in Moscow. This exhibition was an important one for Systemate Numafa as well as for Russia becoming a huge market in the poultry sector and therefore offering many opportunities.

The Systemate Numafa stand attracted many visitors form all parts of Russia and neighbouring countries as well as other parts of the world. On the Systemate Numafa stand a "compact cut up system" was exhibited which drew a lot of attention, the line consisted of the 3 wing modules, a front piece cutter, halving machine, saddle cutter, thigh drum separator and an unloader.

Systemate Numafa shared a stand with Dubbs, Redox and Alvic & Partners, all sharing a common interest in getting to know the market better and promoting the cooperation between mentioned companies. In fact by promoting themselves as a total solution concept for this market, this could be a more approachable concept for the region. An entire poultry processing plant usually involves more then just one supplier.

The majority of the visitors were from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and western Europe. Most visitors were from major poultry companies and seriously interested in equipments.Ever since the end of the former Soviet Union, a free market concept came into place and more companies are now focussing on competitive systems from abroad suitable for the local demands. The Russian government stimulates Russian production so subsidises on imported machinery and equipment is given to allow local companies to grow and produce their own products.

It can be said that the VIV in Russia was a successful exhibition and we as Systemate Numafa would like to thank all visitors during the event for the interest shown in our products.

The next VIV is coming up shortly. From 25 – 27 August 2005 VIV Turkey will take place in Istanbul. This exhibition again covers all aspects of poultry production including processing and packaging. Systemate Numafa will be present on this exhibition as well.
