'Impressive results at IFFA 2004'
Systemate Numafa today expressed satisfaction with "impressive results" achieved at the recent IFFA show held at Frankfurt. Commercial Director Hans Andeweg reported "The level of interest from the market was striking. IFFA is a renowned international exhibition for meat processors and always has a wide range of process technology on show. The healthy numbers of visitors from around the world was an encouraging sign of market confidence.
Systemate Numafa supplies solutions to the world of
poultry and meat processing. The company designs and manufactures systems for meat processing,
industrial cleaning and spiral systems; and decided to show much of its range at the show. These included the RWM 600 industrial E1 and E2 crate cleaning system with crate stacker, a flexible cut-up system also called 'flex line', and the new ultra-hygienic concept for spiral systems. The upgraded crate destacker/stacker showed its strength with an improved destack/stack procedure by which capacity has been doubled.
Handling activities still done manually or semi-automatically now benefit from increased automation. The flex line, originally developed back in the nineties, has been upgraded and shows improved performance over the standard cut-up system. With flexible layout possibilities, products can be transported to any location needed quickly and efficiently. Another advantage of the
Systemate Numafa flex line is the use of the fixed shackle over the flexible shackle which offers improved cutting precision. Modules of the standard cut up system can also be incorporated in the new flex line - a major benefit for floor staff.
With HACCP requirements becoming more stringent, clients are becoming more sensitive and are appreciating innovation. Combining the new belt support with the plastic
belt improves hygiene because it is easier to clean, has a less sticky and smoother surface, and a spiral drum without wear strips. Plastic belts are stronger and save on energy costs for the belt and drum drives because of lighter weight and lower friction than a stainless steel belt.
Commercial Director Andeweg explained that he expected more new developments from coming designers in the foreseeable future. He thanked all who visited the company stand and hopes to meet them again at the next IFFA show in May 2007!
