Review Seafood Processing Europe

A serious, but a cosy exhibition! This year Systemate Numafa joined the international fish trading exhibition Seafood Processing Europe in Brussels. The show for the serious seafood processing equipment and technology buyer, featuring products and services necessary for processors to finish the raw product and move it into distribution. Attached to the SPE is Europe’s largest seafood trade event, the European Seafood Exposition (ESE). Four halls focusing on the latest innovation and information about Europe’s seafood industry. Together SPE/ESE create Europe’s most complete seafood event, a one-stop must for seafood industry professionals all over the world.

For Systemate Numafa this exhibition proved to be an interesting show as was last year. With our industrial crate cleaning system Type RWM 600 we attracted many curious visitors to our stand. “I noticed that the fish industry too is being pressured more and more by the severe hygiene and environmental requirements”. Every producer is familiar with the HACCP requirements, but they don’t possess the right facilities to meet these demands, says Robert Bos, Area Sales Manager.
That’s why at Systemate Numafa we showed our industrial crate cleaning system with the new management control system and new belt filtration. In this machine all kinds of fish crates can be washed easily. With the management control system men can adjust and adapt all the parameters regarding the process. All production figures may be obtained directly or transferred to the main office.
The new belt filtration unit is a hot item too, because companies are becoming aware that they are not allowed to drain strongly polluted effluent water. Thanks to the filtration unit all the debris is being filtered out of the polluted water, so that men can drain away ‘clean waste water’ with regards to the environmental standards. The pollution, which is left in the filter, can then be carried off separately.
